As an expanded service offering within Port Jersey Logistics, Continental Logistics was founded in 1983 to serve as a compliment to Port Jersey Transportation. Port Jersey Transportation, founded originally in 1954, was a long standing respected northeast regional carrier primarily serving the grocery industry from New England through Baltimore, MD.

However, with customer needs expanding beyond the markets being serviced directly, Continental Logistics began managing the transportation needs of customers beyond the scope of Port Jersey Transportation.

As time has passed Continental Logistics now stands alone having its rich heritage in transportation within Port Jersey Logistics. We offer a full suite of transportation services and logistics management for food products to clients throughout North America and other varied parts of the globe.
